The scale of devastation

The disaster has affected over 17 million people across 57 townships, leaving many without access to food, clean water, shelter, or health care. Families are sleeping in the open — on streets and sidewalks under the searing summer heat — too afraid to return to damaged homes. Damaged roads and bridges are slowing down the delivery of critical aid.
