A world where technology is a transformative force for a more equitable future.
Catalyze systemic breakthroughs that improve equitable access to health and education, through technology and team innovations.
Equitech Collective [‘Equitech’] is a team of product and software engineers, designers, and development specialists that deliver creative, human-centred solutions for a more equitable future. We come together for a common vision: to catalyze systemic breakthroughs for a more equitable future through technology and team innovations.
We bring together practitioners with diverse skills and expertise, such as service design, innovation, engineering, product development, operations, change management, and impact measurement.
We aim to be hyper-local in the way we build: often, this means combining global expertise with local ingenuity, and building local capacity that can endure beyond time-bound collaborations. It means being inventive with how we leverage resources that already reside within the communities and partners we work with.
Our past work has included the design and deployment of Electronic Health Records systems for hospitals serving migrant populations, piloting the use of AI in lower-resource health systems, building digital identity systems for undocumented individuals, as well as innovation capacity building for countries in the Western Pacific Region, in partnership with the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Join us at our upcoming events to shape a more equitable future through design and tech.
Join us for an afternoon of stories about how design and technology work together with community-led partnerships to shape systems of care. Organised by Equitech Collective, this event brings together regional partners, community builders, and system designers who work across Asia to address pressing humanitarian needs in healthcare and education. From border health work along the Thai-Myanmar border with refugee and migrant communities to AI deployment in Timor Leste’s health system, this event features stories and learnings from building equity-advancing systems where access to health and education is most challenged.
Whether you’re a designer, technologist, changemaker, or simply curious, you’re welcome to join in an afternoon of honest dialogue and cross-sector inspiration, where big ideas meet grounded action. Leave with new insights and connections, and a clearer sense of how you, too, can play a part in designing a more equitable future.
